**ENGLISH**
High-quality renovated studio apartment of 39 m2 designed by Studio Des Bouvrie.
The apartment situated on a fantastic location in the popular Oud-West and has a lovely balcony of 3 m2.
ARCHITECT Studio Des Bouvrie about the project:
My team and I recently had the opportunity to design the layout of four studios, located on the Kwakersplein in the trendy Oud-West neighborhood in Amsterdam. 2 floors, divided into 4 studios from 31 to 39 m2. With this number of square meters it is a challenge to make the most spatial layout possible.
No walls and no doors inside, except the bathroom door. An open space with a microcement floor that runs seamlessly throughout.
The ceiling of almost 3 meters high gives space and allure.
We looked closely at material, lighting and color. All serene with a light, natural atmosphere.
The studios at the front have windows with a view of the Amsterdam coziness.
The studios have a balcony at the back, which increases the living space.
This project is a good example of how you can still create a space with a 'wow effect' with few square meters.
Located on the Kwakersplein, centrally in Oud-West and within walking distance of the Hallen, the Kinkerstraat, the Clerqstraat and the Ten Kate market. The Baarsjes and the Jordaan are also nearby. There are plenty of nice shops, cozy cafes, good restaurants and terraces in the area.
